REVIEW – Now a Major Motion Picture by Stacey Wiedower

4/5

This was truly an exceptional read. Stacey Wiedower was able to create a world and a situation that most women out there can relate to, adding the playful spin of the Hollywood world to it!

We meet Amelia, the main character, who we discover has sky rocketed to fame from writing a series involving a devastating break up with the love of her life. Firstly, I adored her. I thought Amelia was cool and lovable; the way she spoke, thought and acted felt very real. I felt for her when she thought about her rocky past.

When we meet Noah we find him to be a handsome, successful man who seems to be able to have any woman he wants. I wanted to hate him but I couldn’t. Everything about him screamed ‘delectable!’ and his past with Amelia only made him more intriguing.

This story is full of twists and turns from the very start; I admired the way Stacey incorporated social media in this story and how rare it is to escape the eyes of the media. The glamour of Hollywood was described well in the plot and the characters Amelia meets along the way stood on their own. Stacey Wiedower was able to tie up the story well and keep readers on the edge of their seats throughout. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a laugh out loud comedy that also warms your heart.
