Stacia Morineaux’s Celtic fantasy novel is whimsical and well written, despite the fact that the language made the book difficult to follow. Morineaux kindly placed a glossary at the end of the book that includes pronunciations, however, the necessity to refer to it so often, detracted from the story.
Having said that, this was a very imaginative story. Morineaux has successfully created a fictional universe with dreamy characters, swoon-worthy romance and an exciting plot. No Time to Cry is a lively read, perfect for an evening distraction.
